Wow. I was speechless when I first saw WARBIRD. Ian Doglas is in a class of builders we all inspire too, a class of builders that very few of us ever come close to. Congratulations Ian.
Ps I'd sure like to hear it run.

Thank you so much Jim. We had fun at the show, and praise like yours is reward in itself.
The bike took first place in it's class (although I don't think judges really know which class to put it in)
Thank you again
Ian

We will be attending the Vancouver Island custom motorcycle show May 30th & 31st in Victoria.
Come out and support our industry, and see some world class custom bikes including Warbird

there is a lot of tech talk and such. but it was never mentioned about how it ran, or if it ran

Hello Frank
The beast runs! I have been fine tuning ignition cams and playing with oil scavenge pumps & should have her dialed in soon (winter seems to want to stay forever this year)

Highlite of the Abbottsford bike show was for me seeing your work of art, and listening to you chat about building her. Truly a standout bike and a humble guy. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Thank you Glenn
The Abbotsford show was a lot of fun, and you wouldn't know there was a problem with the economy based on the attendance at that show.

Thank you John, I was very much bowled over by the response at the show. I have a few new projects on the go, but a high efficiency engine design is taking most of my time.

Really nice piece auf metal working. Wonder how this sounds.
I would like to see a picture with a rider on it. Cannot really imagine how the legs would fit in.
